Wright-Pierce Ranks as One of the Top 200
Environmental Firms in the Nation

Engineering excellence also earned Wright-Pierce a spot in ENR’s Top 25 Wastewater firms
and the Top 25 Stormwater firms in the country.

Wright-Pierce has been recognized again this year as one of the "Top 200” Environmental Firms by Engineering News Record (ENR).  ENR, a trade publication and AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) industry observer, compiles and publishes annual rankings of engineering and construction firms in the US, measured by gross revenues. In June, ENR also cited Wright-Pierce as a "Top 500” Design Firm. Wright-Pierce has been ranked in the Top 500 and the Top 200 for six consecutive years, with the 2015 rankings the highest to date.

Wright-Pierce also earned higher nationwide engineering company rankings in the following categories: Top 25 Wastewater Treatment Plants,   Top 25  Sanitary and Storm Sewers, and Top 50  Sewerage and Solid Waste.

Strong growth in 2014 and 2015 has also been marked by the hiring of multiple senior level engineers to all core disciplines - - water, wastewater and civil infrastructure. In addition, Wright-Pierce completed the design and construction of several major infrastructure projects. These include significant ongoing, and recently completed, upgrades to wastewater treatment facilities for Berlin, and Hampton, New Hampshire; Fitchburg, Massachusetts; Cranston, Rhode Island; Manchester, Connecticut and The Mattabassett District in Cromwell, Connecticut; a major stormwater project for the City of Portland, Maine; and an award-winning, advanced tertiary wastewater treatment system for Smithfield, Rhode Island.

Other projects include a water treatment upgrade for the Town of Bellingham, Massachusetts which includes the expansion of one treatment facility and the addition of a new facility to address elevated iron and manganese levels in multiple water sources; and ongoing sewer separation and rehabilitation projects for Lebanon, New Hampshire.

President and CEO, John Braccio, PE attributes the 68 year-old firm’s growth and ENR rankings to "a continued strong commitment to a clear focus on our clients’ needs to help identify and implement tailored and sustainable solutions for their infrastructure needs. This approach and company culture has proven to be a win-win strategy. The work performed by Wright-Pierce, and recognition in the industry, has enabled the firm to attract talented people to help provide increasingly strong service and solutions to an expanding client base.”
